Store application files in a proper folder

Hi there,

This HD trailers thing is a cool little toy. One thing that bothers me is that you create an exclusions.xml file next to exe. Which isn't the proper place for configuration data (except for the static .config).

Cheers,

Where do you want it? /Program Data? Is this just for good form, or is there a practical reason to move it? Thx

Hi Brian,

Perhaps into SpecialFolder.LocalApplicationData. The main reason is of course security and good practice. Imagine you want to run in with unprivileged account that shouldn't have access to store the settings into the folder where exe resides (i.e. no application should store anything into Program Files).

Although keeping all of the files in a single folder is easy, it is best to use a folder that doesn't require special permissions. I willt ry to implement this in the new version.
