Release Notes

This is a significant update of HD-Trailers.net Downloader. It marks a transition to ClickOnce (I am not entirely convinced this is the best choice for this app). For security reason, ClickOnce will not allow editing of the files in the install folder. That is one of the reasons it used such an abscure folder name. THis guarantees that the application can be installed with no admin permissions required. I don't want to defend ClickOnce as I am learning how to use it as I go. It does have some nice features.

The result is that the HD-Trailers.net Downloader creates an app data folder in a more typical location

C:\Users\"user"\AppData\Local\HD-Trailers.Net Downloader (in Windows 7)
C:\Documents and Settings\"user"\Local Settings\Application Data\HD-Trailers.Net Downloader (in WinXP)

The folder is created the first time you run HD-Trailers.Net Downloader, and it copies the config folder to that location. After that first execution, HD-Trailers.Net uses the config file in that location. This is also where the exclusions.xml file and log file are located. The config file is not overwritten as new version of HD-Trailers.net Downloader as installed.

I think I have this setup now to allow you to specify the genres that you want to download. There are 3 new config options .see the downloads

<!--Set to True to create an XBMC style movie Nfo file. This is accomplished by doing a lookup on IMDB -->
<add key="CreateXBMCNfoFile" value="true"
<!--only download trailers for specific movie Genres (all, drama, comedy, action, etc) -->
<add key="IncludedGenres" value="Comedy / Drama" />
<!--exclude trailers for specific movie Genres (all, drama, comedy, action, etc) -->
<add key="ExcludeGenres" value="None" />

Also a few bug fixes. I have set it up as a click once application. The first time you run the executable, it copies the config file to the more accessible (and typical)
Users\"user"\AppData\Local\HD-Trailers.Net Downloader. If install an update the config file is not over written so any changes you make are not lost.

This was a substanial update. As you would expect, the IMDB scraping isn't perfect. It is sometimes difficult to pick the correct movie given multiple choices.

Let me know if there are any issues.
